Wow...3 days down, no fun. I am ready to do some MAJOR tinkering. I did get a chance to meet a darling student who is moving to AZ. She is doing a survival trip, so she is clearing her whole place...full of funky vintage. She is young and cool, so these weren't her mama's antiques. They were specially picked by her to represent her eclectic style. I bought 2 1960's wood lounge chairs, a VERY old school desk that looked more like a table with a drawer. When you pull the drawer, it looked like the old school desk top that opened up for storage...but if you didn't know it was there, the piece simply looks like a table. I also got a funky triangular wood end table, and a small scale vintage vanity with mirror included. It will be fun to make these gems! I promise, promise I will post pics and stories as I get to working on them.
Oh...also, I bought crystals galore. If anyone has some creative ideas for using them, let me know. I have hundreds :)...sparkly.
So tomorrow I am hoping there will be fun pics and cool projects to follow. For now, I am taking one more day off to recoup from this lousy flu!
